Intro
By ordering a commission from me (the Artist), you (the Client) confirms that you have read and agreed to be legally bound by the following terms of service listed below. Failure to abide by the Terms of Service may result in a rejected / cancelled commission with or without a refund. Additionally you can become blacklisted with a public service announcement.Please note that these terms of service may be subject to change without prior notice.These terms and conditions are effective since: 31 October 2021

General
The artist has a right to refuse the commission for whatever reason, with or without explanation.The artist has a right to cancel the commission for whatever reason, with or without explanation.

View Section "Refunds" for more information on cancellations.The artist has a right to upload the commissions on any of their social media platforms unless specified by the client beforehand to keep the commission private.The normal deadline is one month after reciving payment unless specified that it could take longer. The client can request a shorter deadline / rushing the order but it results in a fee of 20CHF.NSFW commissions may only be ordered by clients over the age of 18 years old. The artist may ask for verification of age if they suspect the client to be underage.The client may contact the artist at any time to ask about the progress on the commission. Please be aware that the artist may respond within a few hours, not right away. E-Mail takes also longer to answer than direct messages.The artist does not work on a "first come first serve" basis. Smaller commissions that do not take much time may be worked on in between larger commissions.
Image Rights
If the commission includes characters that do not belong to the client, the client may not use the commission for commercial purposes without the express written permission of the owner(s)/creator(s) of the said characters.The client may make minor edits to the completed commission (ex. Cropping, Adding text / borders, Changing Brightness/ Contrast/ Hue/ Saturation...).The client may use / reupload the commission for personal / non-commercial use, but only if proper credit to the artist and a linkback to any of the artist's social media ( DeviantArt, Toyhou.se, Instagram) is provided. Credit does not need to be given if a icon was commissioned. This does not mean the buyer can claim it as their own work.If the commission includes characters that are not owned by the client, additional credit must be given to the owner(s)/creator(s) of said characters when used / uploaded for personal / non-commercial use.The client may not use the commission for any commercial use unless discussed with the Artist beforehand. Commissions for commercial use will be charged more than personal / non-commercial commissions. Prices are negotiable.If the commission includes characters that do not belong to the client, the client may not use the commission for commercial purposes without the express written permission of the owner(s)/creator(s) of the said characters.The client may not claim the commission as their own work, whether they did or did not make any edits to the commission.The artist does not claim ownership to any of the characters / subjects portrayed in the commission. Characters belong to their respective creator(s).
Obviously if the artist themselves created said characters, it's a different subject. Read the section "Character design" for more information.
Turnaround / Delivery
Unless otherwise stated, all commissions will be posted on the artist's social media, resized and watermarked.Smaller canvas sizes may result in loss of detail and/or quality.All commissions will be done digitally but it may include a physical version (ex. badges).Hard copies can be requested but cost extra.The client is paying for a service / digital good and will only require any shipping if asked for hard copies.All commissions will be done in an anime / cartoony style or as sampled in the style ordered.All commissions will be .PNG with dimensions ranging from 1000px - 3000px+ at 100DPI, unless specified otherwise. Exceptions may be made, depending on the commission.The client may ask for a specific canvas size for the commission.Commissions with a canvas size larger than 3000px will have an additional charge.Commissions with a canvas size smaller than 1000px may NOT have prices negoatiable.
Smaller canvas sizes may result in losses to detail / and or qualityThe client may ask for the commission to be 300DPI if the client plans to personally print the commission; There will be no additional charge.All commissions will be transferred over toyhou.se or E-Mail by the artist. While the artist will ask, it's in the clients interest to make sure they will get the commission via e-mail or toyhou.se for better quality.Unless specified otherwise, all commissions will be posted on the artist's social media, resized and watermarked.Commissions will be posted on the artist's social media after the client has received and approved the original and unmarked commission file. The client may ask to remain anonymous when the artist publicly uploads the commission.Depending on the desired style and queue, the estimated turnaround is about one (1) week to two (two) months at the longest.If the artist has to take longer than one (1) month to complete the commission for whatever reason, the client will be contacted and informed of the status of their commission.
Payment
Payment is to be made after the client has approved the sketch. The client can send payment upfront.Payment is to be made via PayPal, Ko-Fi or DeviantArt Points only.
1CHF = 100 DeviantArt PointsPayPal payment is to be done in CHF (Swiss Franks).PayPal payment is be done using invoices. The Artist will require the Client's PayPal e-mail.The Client does not need to pay extra for any of the PayPal fees.DeviantArt Points payment is to be made using the Gift ability on the artist's DeviantArt profile page.Payment must be sent within 72 hours after confirmation.The client is forbidden from splitting the payment without prior consultation with the artist.
Refunds
If the client cancels their commission for whatever reason, the client will receive a partial refund, depending on how much of the commission has been finished:Line art stage = 50% refunded
Base colours stage = 35% refunded
Shading stage = 15% refundedThe Client will not receive any files of the commission.Client will receive whatever has been created if the commission was at the base colour stage or later. If the commission was at any earlier stages, the client will not receive anything.If the commission was in a earlier stage than base colour stage, the artist may do whatever with they have created.If the artist cancels the commission for whatever reason, the client will receive a full refund, in addition to a .PNG file of whatever progress of the commission has been completed.Refunds will be given within 72 hours after correspondence.The client will not be refunded if they are unsatisfied with the commission.If the client is unsatisfied with the commission, the artist is willing to discuss and make minor edits (ex. adjusting colours), up to a maximum of two (2) times after correspondence. Any desired major revisions (ex. reposing, colour scheme change, etc.) will be rejected.The only major revisions permitted are details that the artist may have missed and was specified by the client in the order form / correspondence while the commission was still in the sketching / lineart stage (ex. missing tattoo that's essential to the character's design).If the client cancels the commission during the sketching (before any payment was made), the Artist is free to use the sketch however they desire even after showing the initial sketch to the client.The client is not allowed to use the sketch in any type of form and will be reported and blacklisted in addition to a public service announcement being made if they do.
Process
- Step 1 -
The client contacts the artist via e-mail or direct messages. The Client's e-mail will remain private and will not be shared.- Step 2 -
The artist responds the client within 72 hours, confirming the acceptance or rejection of the commission. Upon acceptance, the final price and details of the commission is confirmed.- Step 3 -
The client will receive a rough sketch (resized and watermarked) of the commission. Any and all major revisions must be done at this stage.- Step 4 -
The client approves the sketch. Payment is to be made (via PayPal Invoice, Ko-Fi donation or DeviantArt Gift).- Step 5 -
Upon confirmation that the payment has been received, the artist will work on and finalize the commission.- Step 6 -
Upon completion of the commission, the client will receive the commission file via e-mail or toyhou.se. Only minor changes (ex. brightness, colour adjustments, etc.) can be made at this point. Any and all major revisions (ex. reposing, colour scheme change, etc.) will be rejected.- Final Step -
If permitted, the artist posts a resized and watermarked version of the commission on social media.
Character Designs
This section only applies to character designs created by the artist. Whether the buyer received it directly from the artist or it was resold to the buyer from a third party.If the client commissions a custom character design, the end result will not equal a ref sheet unless that was additionally paid for.A custom design is not a REF sheet of an existing character, nor will the artist take a full description with no room for the artist's own interpretation or style.Any of the following character types can be commissioned from the artist:Anthro / Furry

Themed CharactersThe client is required to have a ToyHou.se account to own a design of the artist. The artist can provide a invitation code to create such profile.If the client does not have toyhou.se account and still proceed to buy one of my designs, the client will get instantly blacklisted. They won't recieve any images of the character nor a refund. The client wont have any rights to the characters and I will be keeping the money as compensation.The client is not allowed to delete the design from ToyHouse. The client will be blacklisted if doing so.The Client is allowed to make small changes to the design afterwards but creation credit will remain to the original artist.Trading and selling the custom design is permitted if the client does not overcharge.Trading or selling the custom design is not permitted if the client got it for free or via a raffle / giveaway.Gifting, trading and selling IS NOT allowed on the following apps / websites:Amino

any Game(-ing Platforms)If a character design made by the artist is no longer wanted, the owner can transfer the character back to the artist and ask for a compensation of 1 flat fullbody.It is strictly forbidden to make NFTs out of any custom character created by the artist.It is strictly forbidden to create "sibling" or "child" design of the custom design.It is forbidden to duplicate the design with only changing minor things (ex. changing the colours slighty, changing Brightness / Contrast / Hue / Saturation... ect, adding / removing small markings / changing the colours of small physical traits like eyes or nose.)If permitted, the artist posts a resized and watermarked version of the custom on social media for examples.Co-owning is strictly forbidden for characters created by the artist. There must be a person that is responsible for the character and hold ownership over him. This is whoever has the official toyhou.se profile on his account.
Character Designs
Process
The custom making follows the same process as the digital art commission.- Step 1 -
The client will receive a sketch (resized and watermarked) of the commission. Any and all major revisions must be done at this stage (ex. changes to any physical traits.)- Step 2 -
The client approves the sketch. Payment is to be made (via PayPal Invoice, Ko-Fi Donation or DeviantArt Gift).- Step 3 -
Upon confirmation that the payment has been received, the artist will work on and finalize the commission.- Step 4 -
The client will receive a WIP (resized and watermarked) of the commission. Now any small revisions must be done at this stage (ex. markings and colours).- Step 5 -
The Client approves design.- Final Step -
Upon completion of the custom design, the Client will receive the design via ToyHouse. The lore behind said custom design is up to the client.

Custom Character Designs
I no longer offer custom designs as I have grown quite frustrated of how people treated my designs, my terms of service regarding my designs and in general, it's a rather sad experience overall.I want to say thank you to everyone who respected my terms of service and has bought my designs.
